CRAWFORDSVILLE — Gwendolyn Mae
Drollinger, 82, Crawfordsville, died at 10:45 a.m. Friday February 8, 2008 at
Lane House Nursing Care Center in Crawfordsville. Gwen was born July 15, 1925
in Hillsboro, the daughter of James V. and Freda J. (Harshbarger) Ellis. She
married Nathan Paul Drollinger in 1943, he preceded her in death. Gwendolyn
graduated from Kingman High School and formerly attended Yeddo Baptist Church.
Survivors include two daughters Janice Kay Millis, Crawfordsville and Joyce
Elaine Lighty of Rockville; a son Roger Clay Drollinger, Indiana, a sister,
Rosemarie Sutherlin, Veedersburg; and brother, James D. (Alberta) Ellis,
Hillsboro; fourteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded
by a daughter Paula Gwen Drollinger, and brother Duward Ellis. Funeral Service
will be noon Monday February 11, at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service starting at 11 a.m. Burial at
Centennial Cemetery, Kingman. – jlr
